How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Reflect → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Can I restore my purchases on a new device?

Yes. Go to Settings in the Reflect app and tap "Restore Purchases". Your premium access will be restored as long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

Why did I lose my journal entries?

Reflect stores all data locally on your device for privacy reasons. If you deleted the app or got a new device without restoring from backup, entries cannot be recovered. We recommend keeping iCloud device backups enabled.

How do I turn off daily reminders?

Go to Settings inside Reflect and tap on "Daily Reminder" to adjust or disable your notification time.

Is my journal data private?

Yes — completely. All your entries are stored only on your device. We have no servers that store your personal journal content.

The app is not working correctly. What should I do?

Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the issue persists, delete and reinstall Reflect (note: this will erase local data). If the problem continues, email us at ahmadalzein666@hotmail.com

Privacy Policy

Reflect ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal daily journal application. Your privacy is our highest priority. This policy explains what information we handle and how.

1. Data We Collect

Reflect is designed to keep your journal entirely private. By default, we collect and store virtually nothing about you.

The following data is stored only on your device using Apple's local storage:

None of this data is ever transmitted to our servers, because we don't operate any servers that store personal data.

2. Subscription & Payments

If you purchase Reflect Premium, your payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card details.

We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat receives a pseudonymous identifier associated with your App Store account to confirm entitlement. No journal content is shared with RevenueCat. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

3. Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, Reflect schedules local push notifications on your device. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device. No notification data or content is sent to external servers.

4. Analytics & Tracking

Reflect does not use any analytics tools, tracking SDKs, or advertising identifiers. We do not track your behavior within the app, sell your data to third parties, or participate in any cross-app tracking.

5. Data Security

Your journal entries are stored in your device's local storage, protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). We recommend keeping your device secure.

If you delete the app, all local data — including every journal entry — is permanently erased from your device. There is no cloud backup unless you use Apple's iCloud device backup, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy

Reflect is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use of Reflect after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
